Host Family Stay 

  • Host family stays are based on a Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday booking only
  • Host Family bookings are based on arriving to Cork between 08.00 and 00.00 midnight only (no late arrivals).

Host Family Options

1. Host Family with Meals

  • Host Families are on the Cork City bus route(Cork City Bus Red Zone) (Bus numbers 201 to 219)
  • Average journey by bus from host family to school is 30 minutes.
  • Half-board Monday to Friday, full-board Saturday and Sunday. You will have breakfast and evening meal provided Monday to Friday and Breakfast, lunch and evening meal on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Transfers to and from Cork airport /Cork City on your arrival and departure are included.

    €200 per week for single room
    €175 per week per student for a twin or double room

  • Keep in mind students may need to buy a bus pass. Example Fare: Monthly Student Leap Card fee €54

2. Host Family Self Catering

  • Host Families are on the Cork City bus route(Cork City Bus Red Zone) (Bus numbers 201 to 219)
  • Average journey by bus from host family to school is 30 minutes
  • Meals are not provided. This option is room only.
  • You have access to the host family kitchen to prepare and cook food you buy yourself.

    €170 per week for single room
    €145 per week per student for a twin or double room

  • Keep in mind students may need to buy a bus pass. Example Fare: Monthly Student Leap Card fee €54

3. Host Family Commuter with Meals

  • Host Families live outside of the city bus red zone. The homes are further outside the city on the Green Zone covering areas of Cork such as Cobh, Middleton, Crosshaven.
  • Families are still serviceable by public transport for example Route 215, 221, 222, 223, 226, 226A, 232 are within the green zone.
  • Half-board Monday to Friday, full-board Saturday and Sunday. You will have breakfast and evening meal provided Monday to Friday and Breakfast, lunch and evening meal on Saturday and Sunday.

    €160 per week for single room
    €130 per week per student for a twin or double room

  • Keep in mind students may need to buy a bus pass. Example Fare: Monthly Student Leap Card fee €156

4. Host Family Commuter Self Catering

  • Host Families live outside of the city bus red zone. The homes are further outside the city on the Green Zone covering areas of Cork such as Cobh, Middleton, Crosshaven.
