Protection of Enrolled Learners (PEL) is obligatory for all Academic Year students. It provides a guarantee that you will be able to complete all language courses for which you are enrolled, even in the event of school closure.
How PEL Protects You
Learner Protection Insurance offers protection in two ways
Cover for Your Fees
Your course fees are financially protected for the full duration of your enrolment, so your investment in your education is secure regardless of unforeseen circumstances at the school.
School Auditing
An extensive auditing process is applied to every school certified to offer Enrolled Learner Protection Insurance, adding an additional layer of oversight and accountability to the schools students choose to study with.
If a School Closes
Your Personal Certificate
Each student receives a certificate with their own personal policy number, confirming their individual cover under the scheme.
Customer Service Hotline
A designated customer service hotline is provided to every student, to be contacted directly in the event of a claim.
Legal Compliance
Study & Protect’s Enrolled Learner Protection Insurance policy meets the requirements of the Education (Amendment) Act 2012, and is recognised by the Department of Justice and approved by QQI.
