The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) examination tests your English proficiency in an international working environment and is useful if you wish to work for multinational companies. Businesses, government agencies and other public and private organisations accept TOEIC scores as proof of English skills in professional communication. There are two tests: Listening & Reading, and Speaking & Writing. When the TOEIC Listening & Reading test is taken in conjunction with the TOEIC Speaking & Writing test, the TOEIC score gives an overall measure of ability in the four language skills. Minimum level: Intermediate.
It is possible to take the TOEIC test here in Cork English Academy. We hold examinations each month.
Students should register at Cork English Academy at least two weeks before the preferred exam date.
For more than 30 years, the TOEIC test has set the standard for assessing English-language skills used in the workplace. Today TOEIC test scores are used by over 10,000 companies, government agencies and English Language Learning programs in 120 countries, and more than 6 million TOEIC tests were administered last year.
