Cork English Academy’s Junior Short-Stay Programme (juniors aged 16+) is designed for schools and institutions whose students and teachers wish to travel to Ireland with the overall aim of improving their English language ability while at the same time enjoying a cultural and social experience in the country’s “real capital city” Cork!

Students who participate on the programme benefit from the highest quality professional English language tuition provided by our expertly qualified and highly experienced teaching staff. In addition, both the students and group leaders have the added advantage of maximising their language learning by means of our host family programme. This allows all group members to experience life with a native English speaking family. In this way participants have an extra opportunity to encounter everyday English speaking situations which act as the perfect support to the language learned in the classroom.

Hotel, B&B or hostel accommodation can also be arranged on request.

The standard programme inlcudes 20 hours English tuition per week. Afternoon classes and activities, company visits, half day tours, evening activities,weekend excursions and the Trinity Examination can also be arranged.
